Take the aircoach and disembark at the stop on Leeson Street Lower, adjacent to the canal. The hotel is then just a couple of minutes walk along the towpath. Please use the same stop when returning to the airport.

Take the Aircoach to the city centre/ Ballsbridge and get off at Jury’s hotel.
The Bus stops at Jury's Hotel. Cross the Road onto Pembroke Road from Jury's.
Lansdowne Hotel is approx. 300 meters on the left.

Take the Aircoach to the city centre/ Ballsbridge and get off at the School House Hotel(Ask Driver). When you leave the bus turn right down the footway next to the School House Hotel. The School House Hotel will be on your right and the canal will be on your left. Follow this way for about 100 m, and then turn right. After 50 m you will see the Grand Canal Hotel to your right.

Terms & Conditions

Individual Bookers

Credit card details will need to be provided at the time of booking to guarantee your accommodation reservation. This information will then be sent to the hotels 4 weeks in advance of the conference. It is at the discretion of the hotel if they wish to charge the card the 1st night or full stay in advance of arrival to guarantee the room.

Individual Booking Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be sent by email to ipa2008@mci-group.com
Credit card guarantee must be forwarded on confirmation of booking. The supplying of this credit card number denotes permission to charge all and any cancellation charges to this card number.
Should the accommodation booking need to be cancelled, The Conference Secretariat must receive notification of this cancellation in writing (by e-mail or fax).
Cancellations received up to and including the 3 December 2007 will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Percentage is based on the total value of the booking.
Cancellations received from the 3 December 2007 onwards will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Percentage is based on the total value of the booking.
No refunds will be given after the 3 March 2008, 100% of the value of the total booking will be charged to the credit card supplied.
The organisers reserve the right to alter any of the arrangements for this booking, including cancellation of the event should unforeseen circumstances require such action. The organisers accept no responsibility for resulting costs and inconvenience to delegates who are advised to have their own travel insurance in place.
All details will be included in the list of conference delegates for official use by the conference organisers.

Group Bookers

Group Deposit Payments (anyone booking accommodation for 10 pax +)

On confirmation of booking………………….25% of estimated total (non refundable)
90 days prior to group arrival……………......an additional 50% of estimated total
30 days prior to group arrival……………......balance due of 25% of estimated total
Any additional billing is due within 10 days of final reconciliation.
A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to outstanding accounts beyond 30 days.
Should deposit payments not be received Ovation/MCI reserve the right to release all bookings and to chase group payments for any cancellations incurred by the hotels.

Quotations and Prices

Any changes in minimum or maximum numbers of a group may result in re-costing of services. Charges may be applicable for increased numbers or additional services.
In the event of Ovation/MCI’s inability to produce any of the elements contracted, for causes beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitution of comparable quality and interest.

Cancellation Policy – Group Accommodation

Reduction of group numbers will be charged for as follows:

Confirmation date to 16 weeks prior to travel……………Reduction of up to 20% of group booking may be cancelled without penalty.
16 weeks to 12 weeks ….……………………….................Reduction up to 10% of group booking may be cancelled without penalty.
12 weeks to 4 weeks ……………………………................Reduction up to 5% of group booking may be cancelled without penalty.
4 weeks prior or less …………………………….................Any further reduction in numbers or no-shows will be charged 100% of the full cost.
All cancellation requests must be received in writing.
